CONFIGURATION GUIDE
Firewall – Enable & Advanced
Firewall:
The firewall function automatically detects and blocks Denial of Service
(DoS) attacks. URL blocking, packet filtering and stateful packet inspection (SPI)
are also supported. The details of the attack and the timestamp are recorded in
the security log.

Firewall:
Enable or disable the firewall of the T600N.
Click
Apply
to save the settings or
Cancel
to discard the changes.
Advanced:
The router supports VPN pass-through which allows virtual private
networking (VPN) packets to pass through the firewall.
•
VPN Pass-through:
Select to allow VPN packets to pass through the firewall.
•
VPN L2TP Pass-through:
Select to allow L2TP connection method over a VPN.
•
VPN PPTP Pass-through:
Select to allow PPTP connection method over a VPN.
•
VPN IPSec Pass-through:
Select to allow IPSec connection method over a VPN.
•
IPv6 Pass-through:
Select to allow IPv6 packets to pass through the Router .
•
PPPoE Pass-through:
Select to allow clients to directly connect to internet via
PPPoE.
