RS14 EFI design variant:
► The air filter set is located under the top cover of the power generator.
To remove the cover 5x fastening screws have to be dismantled.
► Dismantle 3 x fastening screws within the battery box cover with
Torx screwdriver.
► Dismantle 2 x fastening screws from each of the lateral top covers
with Torx screwdriver.
The cover can be carefully removed and put away protected.
► Remove the 9 pcs. fastening screws from the top section of the air filter
cover.
The air filter can be changed according to the engine manufactur-
ers specifications.
► Mount the 9 pcs. fastening screws on the top section of the air filter
cover.
► Carefully replace the cover back on the power generator.
► Mount 3 x fastening screws within the battery case cover with Torx
screwdriver. Seal in the fastening screws with a liquid-locking
compound, e.g. Loctite.
► Mount 2 x fastening screws to each of the lateral top covers with
Torx screwdriver. Seal in the fastening screws with a liquid-locking
compound, e.g. Loctite.
RS14 EFI Super Silent design variant:
► The air filter set is located under the top cover of the power generator.
To remove the cover the rubber tensioner on the side of the engine
must be released.
The cover can be carefully removed and put away protected.
► Remove the 9 pcs. fastening screws from the top section of the air filter
cover.
The air filter can be changed according to the engine manufactur-
ers specifications.
► Mount the 9 pcs. fastening screws on the top section of the air filter
cover.
► Carefully replace the cover back on the power generator and reattach
the rubber tensioner.
8.5.3
Replace fuel filter with external refuelling
The fuel filter for external refuelling must be replaced approx. every 400 op-
erating hours or annually, depending on use.
► Place the power generator on a suitable platform to be able to open the
lower service cover.
The platform must be sufficiently stable to counteract the dead
load of the power generator.
