ETFE
• Excellent chemical resistance
• Better abrasion resistance than
PTFE
• -20 to 300 °F (-29 to 149 °C)
Polyurethane
• Excellent abrasion resistance for
slurries with small and medium
particles
• Limited chemical resistance
• 0 to 140 °F (-18 to 60 °C)
• Typically applied in clean water
Neoprene
• Very good abrasion resistance for
small and medium particles
• Better chemical resistance than
polyurethane
• 0 to 176 °F (-18 to 80 °C)
• Typically applied in water with
chemicals, and sea water
Linatex Rubber
• Very good abrasion resistance for
large particles
• Limited chemical resistance
especially in acids
• Softer material than polyurethane
and neoprene
• 0 to 158 °F (-18 to 70 °C)
• Typically applied in mining
slurries
