2.3 Typical sample head
The sample head is used to draw air from around the product and deliver it to the
measurement cell.
To ensure a high air flow rate, the sample head is connected to the leak detector using a ¾ -
in. hose, shown in Figure 2-3 . There is a central roller with a sample head at either side.
Note
The sample head shown is for food packaging; this may change depending on the product/
production line.
