INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER

Anti-tip Device Installation

 

 

WARNING

 

IMPORTANT: Save for the local electrical inspector's use

FOR THE USER: 

Do  not  repair  or  replace  any  part  of  the  appliance  unless  specifically 

recommended in the manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified technician.

TIPPING HAZARD

To reduce the risk of the appliance tipping, it must be secured by a properly 

installed  anti-tip  bracket(s).To  make  sure  the  bracket  has  been  installed 

properly,  look  behind  the  range  with  a  flashlight  to  verify  proper  installation 

engaged in the rear lower part of sides of the range.

•A CHILD OR ADULT CAN TIP THE RANGE AND BE KILLED.
•INSTALL THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE (PACKED WITH RANGE) TO THE STRUCTURE AND THE RANGE. 

VERIFY THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE HAS BEEN PROPERLY INSTALLED AND ENGAGED

•ENGAGE THE RANGE TO THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE BY SLIDING THE RANGE TOWARDS THE WALL UNTIL 

THE BRACKETS FIXED ON RANGE ARE WELL INTO THE HOLES OF THE BRACKETS FIXED IN THE 

WALL. ENSURE THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE IS RE-ENGAGED WHEN THE RANGE IS MOVED

•RE-ENGAGE THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE IF THE RANGE IS MOVED. DO NOT OPERATE THE RANGE WITHOUT 

THE ANTI-TIP DEVICE IN PLACE AND ENGAGED.

•SEE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR DETAILS.
•FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS BURNS TO CHILDREN OR ADULTS.
