5 Before First Use

Remove all the protective packaging and discard thoughtfully.
•
Before using for the first time, clean the surface of the cooking
chamber according to the “CLEANING” section in this manual. DO
NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER.
•
When using the appliance for the first time, the unit may emit a fine
smoke from the cooking chamber. This is caused by the surface
coating on the cooking chamber cooking off. This is no cause for
alarm and is NOT harmful. It will disappear after a short time.
