2.3.1 Sensor

The marked areas represent the working ranges of the sensors. For all combinations of sheet
thickness and sensor distance Ax within the range a double sheet condition will be securely
detected, if the switching thresholds are set “tight”. So it might be required to restrict the 1-sheet
detection range by changing the (factory-set) thresholds of 85% / 115% to approx. 95% / 105%.
The working ranges of the sensors depend very much on the material properties, they can deviate
from the sensor diagrams shown below.
