Two-step sawing
• Adjust the cutting head in its top posi-
tion.
• Place the material to be cut on the
cutting table and position against the
fixed stop and eventually the adjust-
able stop.
• Hold the material with two hands while
making sure your hands are free from
the cutting blade.
• Push the cutting table forward with con-
trolled feed so that the cutting blade is
easily cutting through the material and
move the cutting table backward in its
initial position.
• Rotate the material and cut it through
completely.
In order to maintain an optimal suction
ensure that the filter of the industrial vac-
uum cleaner is regularly cleaned. In case
of dust emission during cutting increase the
frequency of cleaning the filter so that an
optimal suction is retained
.
sAfety
Besides the valid safety regulations atten-
tion to the following items should be made:
• Carefully follow the directions of setting
up and working with the brick saw.
• Carefully check that the electrical con-
nections are correct.
• Electrical cables should not come in
contact with water or water spray.
• Damaged cutting blades should be
replaced immediately.
• Secure material to be cut by hand dur-
ing cutting.
• Make sure your hands stay away as
far as possible from the rotating cutting
blade.
• Wear protective goggles during cut-
ting.
• Wear hearing protection during cut-
ting.
mAIntenAnce
• It is recommended to clean the cutting
table, guides, suction unit and brush
on a regular basis.
• Regularly check the V-belts for wearing
and tension. If necessary replace worn
belts.
ATTENTION! Always replace
belts in sets.
• Regularly check the saw flanges for
wearing out and replace if necessary.
Diamond blade dressing
Diamond blades performs best when they
are dressed.
After time and use, diamonds on the outer
edge of the blade might become glazed
or dull. This will reduce cutting efficiency
and possibly cause the blade to bend.
As a result the cut will not be straight and
mis-aligned. When this occurs, the blade
needs to be dressed.
The diamond blade can be dressed with a
dressing stick.
Dressing procedure(s):
• Place a dressing stick on the cutting
table.
• Make approx. 10 cuts through the
dressing stick.
The diamond blade should be sharp again
and ready for further efficient cutting.
