Use In a Tightly Sealed
Enclosure
When the device is installed in a tightly sealed enclosure, the temperature
inside the enclosure is higher than outside. In such situations, the inside
temperature defines the ambient temperature for the device.
In the following test setup, the device is placed in the middle of the box, no
other heat-producing items are inside the box. The load is placed outside the
box.
The temperature sensor inside the box is placed in the middle of the right side
of the power supply with a distance of 1 cm (0.39 in.). The following
measurement results can be used as a reference to estimate the temperature
rise inside the enclosure.
Prohibited Applications
Do not use the power supply in the following applications.
DC Input
Do not operate this power supply with DC input voltage.
Charging of Batteries
Do not use the power supply for the charging of batteries.
Parallel Use to Increase Output Power
Do not parallel devices for higher output currents.
Parallel Use for 1+1 Redundancy
This device is not recommended to build redundant systems since there is no
monitoring (DC OK signal) included.
