VOLTAGE UNDER LOAD
After measuring the idle voltage, press the load
test button (

). Read the voltage on the top
of the tester scale. You can perform a maximum
of 3 such tests within 5 minutes.
BATTERY CHARGING VOLTAGE
Start the engine with the tester connected, keep
it rotating between 1300-1500 / minute and read
the voltage on the upper scale.
INDICATIONS
Battery voltage: Green LED - good battery
Yellow LED - The battery needs charging
Red LED - bad battery

connect the red test lead to the positive terminal
of the battery and the black lead to the negative
terminal. Read the voltage result. The result
should be greater than 12V.
COLD STARTING CURRENT
This measurement is performed with the engine
cold. The voltage must be at least 12V. Press and
hold the CCA test button (

) until the indicator
shows the value for the battery under test, this
is the number of Amps rounded down to the
nearest hundred. The gradation is every 100, so
if you’ve exceeded the appropriate number, work
