Setting up a Run for Purification of Genomic DNA from Whole Blood Samples

Loading the Stage

Place a processing cartridge in position 1 of the right reagent rack.

Remove the blue lid from reagent tray 1.

Do not remove the foil from the reagent containers.

Place reagent tray 1 in position 2 of the reagent rack as recommended on the

Stage

sub-tab.

Dispose of damaged reagent trays, e.g., if a reagent container has fallen out or is missing.

Only bottles and trays of the same kit lot can be used in the same purification run.

After the first use the bottles and trays are defined as a reagent set and have to be used together
in subsequent runs.

Remove the blue lid from reagent tray 2 and place it in position 3 of the reagent rack.

Ensure that the barcode labels face left so that they can be read by the barcode reader during the re-
source check.
