• hook the cleaning foot onto the back of the
vacuum cleaner so that it is horizontal, or …
• hook the telescopic tube onto the bottom
of the vacuum cleaner so that it is upright.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. If you are not, contact the customer service department.
Do not try to repair a faulty device yourself!
DISPOSAL
Le mThe packaging can be recycled. Please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly
manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly manner. It should not be disposed
of in the normal domestic waste. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for used
electrical and electronic devices.

Problem Possible cause/solution
The device generates no
suction. • Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
• Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Is the device switched on? Press the On/Off button.
Low suction force. • Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close it.
• Adjust the suction strength on the suction strength control.
• Is the dust container full? Empty the dust container.
• Is the HEPA fi lter or one of the other fi lters clogged up? Clean the fi lters.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction hose clogged? Pull the
mains plug out of the socket and remove the objects causing the blockage
from the nozzle, telescopic tube and/or suction hose.
Dust escapes from the
device
during cleaning. Check whether the HEPA dust fi lter is inserted into the dust container
correctly and whether the dust container is closed and inserted correctly.
Correct this if necessary.
Unusual odour A new odour is normal when the device is used for the fi rst time and this
does not indicate a defect with the device. The odour will disappear after a
little while.
