HOW TO USE VACUUM JUG

*To pour out coffee, turn the cover anticlockwise
by the knob from “LOCK” position, until the knob
points to the symbol “ ”.
Note: Always close the jug cover after pouring
coffee to keep the coffee inside the jug hot.
*To close the cover, turn it clockwise by the knob
until the knob points to the symbol “LOCK”.
*To remove the cover from the vacuum jug, turn it
anticlockwise by the knob until the knob points to
the symbol “ ”, then take it out upwards. Re-
verse operation to reassemble the cover onto jug,
1.Lift out the tank, draw up the cover and fill with fresh cold water to required level, never fill above the
Max. level. Alternatively draw up the cover and fill the tank whilst in position on the coffee maker.
2.Refit the tank, make sure that it is correctly located and press with slight force if necessary to ensure the
valve at the bottom of the tank connects well with the water inlet of the machine.
3.Swing out the filter basket, then put adequate quantity of coffee powders into the permanent filter (if
applicable) or paper filter inside the filter holder.
Note: Make sure the filter holder has been assembled correctly to the filter basket before this operation
4.Return the filter basket to original position, make sure it is fixed properly.
5.Place the jug on the jug stand. Make sure the lid of the jug is in ‘LOCK’ position.
6.Operate the appliance as below “Control panel operation”. During brewing the appliance maybe occur
several unabiding shut off, this is normal in order to control the temperature of heating element well.
7.The appliance will brew until the water tank is emptied, then shut off automatically, meanwhile the
appliance return to standby mode, all indicator lamps goes out.
8.The vacuum jug will keep the brewed coffee warm at:
1)Above 75°Cin half an hour.
2)Above 70 °C in an hour.
