Display backlight dimmer
The brightness of the display and the moon light LED can be adjusted while
the radio is in standby or while it is in use. If you use the unit in the bedroom,
you may prefer a lower standby brightness level than the standard setting.
There are seven brightness levels and an almost off 'night-time' setting.
1. In order to adapt the intensity of the display to suit the ambient room
lighting, press the
Backlight
button to select the dimmer and moon
light LED brightness.
The backlight level will change at the same time so that you can see
the effect of each setting.
Moon light feature
Your radio has a moon light feature which may be set to be either on or off.
1. Press and hold the
Menu
button.
2. Rotate
the
Tuning / Select
control until
'MOON LED'
appears on the
display.
3. Press and release the
Tuning / Select
control to enter the menu.
4. Rotate

Tuning / Select
control to select either 'ON' or 'OFF'
