Step 8 .3.3 Reflector, U-Clip and Reflector Support Installation
The pictorial dra w ings of the heater constr u ction in
Section 8 are schematic only and pro v ide a general
g u ideline of w here hangers, reflector s u pports and
U-clips are to be installed.
To ens
u re proper expansion and contraction
mo v ement of the reflectors, a combination of U-clips
and reflector s u pports are u sed. The positioning of
reflector s u pports and U-clips depend on the
indi v id u al installation. Use either pop ri v ets or sheet
metal scre w s instead of u -clips w hen installing end
caps and joint pieces in areas w here impact and high
w ind may be a factor. The follo w ing r u les m u st be
obser v ed.
