Cooktop Stove
The propane stove requires ventilation while in use. Make sure you have a window open
and the ceiling fan cover open slightly.
Do not use the propane cooktop for heating the interior of the Roadtrek - carbon
monoxide poisoning will result.
The main valve on the propane tank must be open for the cooktop to work. The battery disconnect
switch must be on for the burner igniters to work - they use 12-volt electrical power. The igniters
light both burners. (Picture 29.1)

Hot Water
Your water heater requires both propane for heat, and 12-volt power for controls.
To use the heater:
• Turn on the power. The panel will light and will display the current temperature at the inlet of
the unit.
• Press a temperature selection arrow (up or down) to see the current set temperature
Adjust the set temperature to your preference
Turn on the faucet
Check the water heater Owner's Manual for more details of operation and maintenance.
