Method 3: Whitewater Used as a Copy Storage Pool
Note: This test applies only if you configured Whitewater as a copy storage pool. If you configured Whitewater as a primary
storage pool, go to Method 1 or Method 2 above.
To test Tivoli Storage Manager with the Whitewater gateway perform a copy storage pool backup. Start the Tivoli Storage
Manager Administration Console, and expand Tivoli Storage Manager in the left tree. Click on
Storage Devices
. In the
Storage Devices panel and select the radio button for the Tivoli Storage Manager server you wish to work with. Then click on the
Select Action
drop down menu and select
View Storage Pools
, as shown in Figure 33.

When the Stoage Pools panel appears, click the radio button next to the primray storage pool you wish to backup. Then click on
the
Select Action
drop down menu and select
Back Up Storage Pool
