IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs,
or motor unit in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as
spatulas or other utensils away during operation to reduce the risk of
injury to persons, and/or damage to the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to the manufacturer (see warranty) for
examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces, including the stove.
10. Keep fingers, utensils, and other foreign objects out of the Bucket
while in use to reduce the risk of injury to persons or to the appliance
itself. Do not use sharp objects or utensils inside the Bucket or on the
Gel Disc. Sharp objects will scratch and damage the Gel Disc and
Bucket. A rubber spatula or wooden spoon may be used when the
appliance is turned off.
11. Ice Cream Maker must be completely assembled and motor assembly
locked in place before operating.
12. Do not expose Gel Disc to temperatures above 221°F / 105°C.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. If
the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm do
not use that outlet.
