To calibrate for TRUE NORTH an OFFSET is required.

Enter your OFFSET by using START/STOP or LAP/RESET then press MODE/SET to
continue calibration. Your watch will instruct you to TURN CW. This means, take the
watch off, hold it level, and rotate it SLOWLY in a clockwise direction. It will take one
minute of slow clockwise rotation to complete the calibration. Once the calibration
is complete, firstly DONE will appear in the screen and then the compass direction
will appear.
- Use the arrow on the top of the watch case to find your direction.
- To conserve battery life, after 60 seconds the Compass will revert to TIDE/DATE/
TIME MODE.

***OFFSET –
Entering the correct OFFSET makes the watch point to True North,
OFFSETS vary for different places. To find the offset for your specific location please
log on to...or see some common offsets we have listed on below.

NOTE:
For accurate compass readings you re-calibrate your compass regularly or
after it has come into contact with strong magnetic forces. Eg: An airplane trip or
long distance travel in a car or train.
ALSO NOTE:
After calibration, compass readings should be taken away from large
metal objects and appliances. Eg; TV, Fridge, computer, car and etc.
