Solar Close Coupled Operating / Installation Manual Issue 7 - 16/9/10

ROOF PITCH GREATER THAN 30°

In situations where a Close Coupled System is installed onto a roof with a pitch of 30° or greater, an
additional strap must be used to prevent the cylinder tipping over. Builders strapping available from
hardware stores is suitable for this. The strapping is attached through the slots in the front cylinder
rail, goes over the tank and is then fastened to the roof behind the cylinder.
