CONNECTING TO GAS SOURCE

1.

Open the front doors of cabinet.  Pull out the gas
cylinder tray.  Place a 9 kg gas cylinder with foot
ring into the hole in the tray.  Make sure the gas
cylinder valve is in the

‘OFF’

position.

(Turn clock-

wise to close.)

Align the gas cylinder so the cylinder

valve faces the rear right corner of cabinet.  Use
provided wing bolt to secure gas cylinder.

2.

Ensure all burner valves are in the

‘OFF’

position.

3.

Inspect the valve connection opening and regulator
assembly.  Look for damage or debris.  Remove
any debris. Inspect hose for damage.  Never use
damaged components.

DISCONNECTING TO GAS SOURCE

1.

Turn all burners to

‘OFF’

.

2.

Turn gas cylinder valve off fully.

3.

Detach the regulator assembly from gas cylinder
valve.

4.

When connecting the regulator assembly to the gas
cylinder valve, hand tighten nut anti-clockwise to a
full stop.

5.

Open the gas cylinder valve fully.  Use a soapy
water solution to check all accessible connections
for leaks before attempting to light your barbecue.

See "Checking for Gas Leaks" on page 5.

If a leak is

found, turn the gas cylinder valve off and do not
use your barbecue until the leak is repaired.

CAUTION: When the appliance is not in use, the gas
must be turned off at the gas cylinder.

must be turned off at the gas cylinder.

Familiarise yourself with the general information
