NORMal: sets the polarity of the current pulse modulation signal to "Normal".

•

INVerse: sets the polarity of the current pulse modulation signal to "Inverse".

When the trigger mode of the pulse modulation is set to "Gated", the microwave
signal generator receives the external gated signal input from the front-panel
[TRIGGER] connector. At this point, you can use this command to set the polarity of
the external gated signal. You can run the 

[:SOURce][:RF]:PULM:TRIGger:MODE

command to set or query the trigger mode of the pulse modulation.

This command is invalid when "Ext" modulation source is selected. You can run the 

[:SOURce][:RF]:PULM:SOURce

 command to set or query the pulse modulation

source.

Return Format

The query returns NORM or INV.
