7. Operation
Optimal saw feed rate
The optimal saw feed rate depends on multiple factors:
l
Material type of workpiece
l
Wall thickness of workpiece
l
Type of saw band
l
Wear of saw band
l
Required quality for the saw cut
Determine the optimal saw feed rate for each application case by slowly increas-
ing the saw feed rate in small steps beginning with (1) while checking the quality
of the cut. You can record the determined information in the table below to
quickly find the optimal result in case you come across the same application
case.
