6. Use of the remote control
7. Reset
The remote control is designed for easy usage,
even without any specific programming.
In order to activate it, simply insert the
batteries, reset the device, set “A” channel
with “CODE” button and set the clock.
Battery insertion and replacement.
The remote control is powered by two AAA 1.5V
batteries, placed in the back and protected by
a cover.
To install the batteries:
Press down and slide the cover off.
Take out the old batteries and insert the
new ones, paying attention to the correct
polarity.
The batteries’ correct position is shown inside
the device.
When you take out the batteries, all the
settings of the remote control unit are
cancelled, so you shall need to re-program
it after inserting the new batteries.
If button “Reset” is pressed, set channel
“A” with “Code” button.
Do not mix old and new batteries or
different types of batteries.
Do not throw away the old batteries,
dispose of them in the appropriate
containers placed in the shops.
Usually reset is automatic, but we recommend
a manual reset at least the first time the unit
is turned on.
Wait for a few moments, until the display is
fully lighted.
