LINE OF GAS-SUPPLY

THE BURNER IS SET TO WORK WITH TWO KINDS OF FUEL:
LIGHT OIL AND NATURAL GAS
Switching from one fuel to the other is done by turning the selector (12) to the desired position
.
LIGHT OIL OPERATION

Turn the selector switch (12) to
OIL
.
By doing so, the gas pressure switch is short-circuited and the unit can run without any gas in the sys-
tem. The gas valves are de-energised and gas is prevented from passing through. When the control
box sends the signal, the oil valve (1) is energised. If the unit is to run on light oil for a long time, it is
recommended that the manual gate in the gas delivery pipe be closed.
GAS OPERATION
Turn the selector switch (12) to
GAS
.
The gas pressure switch is reset and the burner works only
with an adequate gas pressure. When the control box sends
the signal, the gas valve is energised. The valve (1) stays
de-energised and light oil is prevented from passing
through.
Important
There must be light oil in the tank and the pump must be
primed even if the burner is running on gas. If there were no
fuel in the tank, the pump would seize. If there is no light oil,
the motor-pump coupling (3) must be removed. This is rec-
ommended also if the burner runs on gas for a long time.
