R.E.P.O.
This isolated input is used to switch off the UPS from a distance in the event of an emergency.
The UPS is supplied from the factory with the
“Remote Emergency Power Off” (R.E.P.O.) terminals short-circuited (
see
"communication area"
). If installation is necessary, remove the short circuit and connect to the normally closed contact
of the locking device using a cable which guarantees a connection with double insulation.
In the event of an emergency, using the locking device, the R.E.P.O. is opened and the UPS moves to stand-by mode
(see "USE" section) completely disconnecting power to the load. When switching the UPS back on, pay attention
because it is necessary to switch off the machine completely, reset the locking device and switch the UPS back on.
The R.E.P.O. circuit is self-powered with SELV-type circuits. No external power supply voltage is therefore required.
When closed (normal condition) a max current of 15mA circulates.

YNC
This non-isolated input can be used to synchronise the inverter output with a suitable signal originating from an external
source.
If installation is necessary, proceed as follows:
use a barrier with isolated single phase output (SELV) within the range 12-24Vac with a power level of
0.5VA
connect the secondary transformer circuit to the "EXTERNAL SYNC" terminal (see
“EXT connections" view )
using a cable with double insulation and a section of 1 mm². Caution - respect the polarisation shown in the
figure below. Pole 1 of the terminal is indicated by a label affixed to the terminal itself.
After installation, it is necessary to enable the command using the UPSTools advanced configuration software present on
the CD-ROM supplied with the UPS.
P
ROGRAMMABLE AUXILIARY POWER SOCKET
(
POWER SHARE
)
The UPS is equipped with a power socket (See
“Communication area” view) which allows the automatic disconnection of
the load applied to it in certain operating conditions. The events which determine the automatic disconnection of the
power share socket can be selected by the user using the UPSTools configuration software (see
Configuration
software
and
UPS Configuration
paragraphs).
It is possible to select disconnection after a certain battery operation time, for example, or when the battery low pre-alarm
threshold is reached, or when an overloading event occurs.
Safety note
: when the UPS is on, if the output isolating switch (SWOUT) is opened, the power share socket
remains live. If the manual bypass isolating switch (SWMB) is activated, the output isolating switch (SWOUT)
opened and the UPS switched off, the socket is disconnected.
IEC
CONNECTORS
The UPS is equipped with two IEC connectors (see
“Ext connection area” view), connected directly to the UPS output.
Safety note
: when the UPS is on, if the output isolating switch (SWOUT) is opened, the power share socket
remains live. If the manual bypass isolating switch (SWMB) is activated, the output isolating switch (SWOUT)
opened and the UPS switched off, the sockets are disconnected.
