• This function is available for SP C342DN only.
• This function requires the camera direct print card.
• Make sure your digital camera supports PictBridge.
• Use the USB interface cable that was included with your digital camera.

1.

Check that the printer and digital camera are turned on.

2.

Remove the cable cover.

3.

Connect the USB interface cable to USB port A on the printer and to your digital camera.

4.

When a digital camera is not connected to the printer, store the USB interface cable in a
location where it will not be damaged.

• For the printing method, see page 197 "Direct Printing from a Digital Camera".

Connecting to the IEEE 1284 Interface

This section explains how to connect an IEEE 1284 interface cable to the IEEE 1284 interface board.

• If the main power switch is on, turn it off.
• For connection to the IEEE 1284 interface board, use a half pitch 36-pin interface cable.

Make sure the main power switch on the printer is off.

2.

Turn off the main power switch of the host computer.
