6.5.2 SCANNER FRAME

1. Remove the platen cover (ADF).

2. Remove all parts indicated in 6.1.1 Exposure Glass, Operation Panel, and

Upper Covers section.

3. Remove the exposure glass bracket [A] (1 screw).

4. Disconnect the platen cover sensor [B] and remove the lower rear scanner

frame [C] (5 screws).

5. Disconnect the scanner H.P. sensor [D] and remove the upper rear scanner

frame [E] (2 screws).

6. Remove the lower operation panel [F] (3 screws).

7. Remove the front scanner frame [G] (5 screws).
