USED TONER COLLECTION

CAUTION: After disposing of the toner in the used toner tank, SP83

must be done to clear the memory counter (SP58).

1. Remove the cleaning unit. (See Cleaning Unit Removal.)

2. Set the cleaning unit on a large sheet of paper [A].

3. Open the toner collection cover [B] while removing the hooks [C].

NOTE: Do not peel off the tape on the toner collection cover.

4. Pour the used toner slowly onto the paper sheet so that the toner does

not scatter.

5. Place the paper sheet with the used toner into a plastic bag.

NOTE: Dispose according to local regulations.

6. Reinstall the cleaning unit.

7. Perform SP83 to clear the memory counter.
