Unscrew the bleed valve
Before operation open the bleed valve by 2-3 rotations.
Before transport, close the bleed valve.
Do not expose to or use in weather conditions (ex.: storm, rain, snow ...), moisture.
Do not use in damp or wet areas.
The machine must NOT be sprayed with water (danger due to the presence of electric
current).
Do not operate the unit outdoors when it is raining.
Warning! Electric shock hazard!
This machine contains electrical equipment that can give rise to a risk of electric shock.
Inspect your log
Make sure there are no nails or foreign objects in logs to be split.
Never attempt to split logs containing nails, wire or debris.
The ends of the logs must be cut square. Always make sure that both ends of the log you
are splitting are cut as square as possible. This will prevent the log from sliding out of
position while under pressure.
Branches must be cut of flush with the trunk.
Protect your hands
Keep hands out of moving parts. When the ram of the log splitter is in the return mode,
keep your hands off the machine - the log splitter is designed to automatically stop when
the cylinder is fully retracted.
Keep your hands away from splits and cracks which open in the log. They may close
suddenly and crush or amputate your hands.
Do not remove jammed logs with your hands.
Never leave tool running unattended
Do not leave the machine unattended when it is running.
Do not leave tool until machine has come to a complete stop and is unplugged.
Protect the environment
Do not dispose of this product with household rubbish.
Dispose of this product in the nearest recycle centre. Please contact your local authority
or local recycle centre for further information for its safe disposal.
