PREPARING THE BASE
•
The base of the hot tub can be built with gravel or
crushed stone, for example.
•
A well rammed bottom is the best base for a hot
tub.
•
Frost insulation can be installed on the base. This
way, the earth cannot move, and the hot tub stays
firmly in place.
•
It can be good to place concrete stones under the
hot tub and frame, for example. When installed
this way, the bottom frame of the tub and box
is left slightly above the ground, and the air also
circulates under the frame.
•
The wood stove (REXENER Silence) and the
protective case containing technical parts
(REXENER Aurora/Polar) must be installed on an
even surface, and at the same level as the hot tub
kit frame’s bottom.
•
The base must be able to carry ca. 2,500 kg.
•
When choosing the location, consider the possibilities for emptying the tub.
