This coupling side guiding channel has pre-drilled slots (5 mm
x 20 mm) at every 250 mm.
Please maintain a maximum distance of 500 mm between two
attachment points.
Please note that this profile is aligned with the underside of
the boxes. There is an opening of 4 mm on the bottom of this
profile, which also contains the base plate located on the
intermediate profile.

TIP:
Check the correct placement of the side guiding channels: spirit level, mutual distance and
squaredness, see 7. Final check, page 71.
These deep side guiding channels are fitted with an
aluminium endplate at 0° or 5°.The base plates at 5° are
equipped with a cavity at the bottom; this can be injected
with silicone for an extra watertightness towards the cavity.
Drill points are provided for this purpose through which the
silicone can be injected after drilling.
Note:
Deep side guiding channels S.W/M.W/M.W+/L.W are
screwed onto the underlying structure (the window). These
must be screwed at a different distance depending on the
type of window system to prevent screwing into the glass or
a raised aluminium side. So, always check the underlying
structure before fastening.
