Switching off the alarm

When the alarm sounds, push one of the following buttons to turn it off:
- MODE/STANDBY (2)
- MENU/INFO (4)

PRESET (6)
-
PREV (7)
-
SCAN/ENTER (9)
- NEXT (11)
If the alarm is not turned off, it will automatically turn off after one hour.
•
The alarm sounds again after 24 hours.
•
In order to completely deactivate the alarm function, proceed as described in "Setting the
alarm time" and set the respective alarm to OFF.
11. Handling
•
Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken
from a cold to a warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
•
Never plug in or unplug mains adapters when your hands are wet.
•
Never disconnect mains adapters from the mains socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it
out of the mains socket holding it by the contact surfaces provided for this purpose.
•
Unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket if you do not use the device for some time.
•
For safety reasons, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket in case of an
electrical storm.
•
Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time, particularly when
using headphones. This may damage your hearing.
