b) DAB Operation
Station scan
• After first selection of the DAB mode, the device will automatically perform a station scan in
the DAB reception range.
• This station scan can also be started manually. For this, keep the button SCAN/ENTER (9)
pushed until the scan starts.
•
The device will save the station found in the station list.
•
During the search, the display shows progress and the number of stations found.
The clock will be set automatically as well during the station scan. The time will be
deleted after disconnection from the power supply. When restoring the power supply,
however, it will automatically set itself again.
If no stations are found, change the alignment of the aerial and/or change the site of
setup of the device and conduct the scan manually.
The station scan should be repeated after a change of location or now and then in
order to transfer new stations to the station list.
Station selection from the station list
• Push the buttons PREV (7) or NEXT (11), to select the desired station.
• Confirm your selection by briefly pushing the button SCAN/ENTER (9).
Station storage
•
The device can save up to 10 DAB stations.
•
Select the other DAB station to be saved as described above.
• Press and hold the PRESET (6) button until the list of the station memory appears in the
display.
For empty station slots, no station name is displayed; if the station slot is already
occupied, the name of the station saved there is displayed.
• Use the buttons PREV (7) or NEXT (11) to select the desired memory slot and confirm your
selection
by briefly pushing the SCAN/ENTER (9) button.
•
To delete a saved station, just save another station on its storage space.
