Changing the battery
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a choking
hazard for children and pets. Seek immediate medical advice if a
battery is swallowed.
When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable
protective gloves to avoid burning your skin.
Batteries must not be short-circuited, dismantled or thrown into a fire,
as this may cause an explosion.
Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as this may
cause an explosion. Only recharge rechargeable batteries and
ensure that you use a suitable battery charger.
Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity (observe the
plus/+ and minus/- signs).
The remote control comes with a button cell battery and is ready for immediate use.
If the remote control stops working, or you notice a drop in the reception range,
follow the instructions below to change the battery.
• Loosen the screws on the battery compartment cover, and then remove the
cover from the remote control.
• Remove the used battery and insert a new battery of the same type (see
„Technical data“). The positive pole must point upwards.
• Screw the battery compartment cover back onto the remote control. Be
careful not to squash the seal.
