• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into
fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. This may cause
an explosion!
d) Rechargeable battery
• Never damage the battery. Damaging the casing of batteries may
cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the battery. Do not throw the bat-
tery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Charge the battery regularly, even if you are not using the product.
Due to the battery technology being used, you do not need to dis-
charge the battery first.
• Never leave the battery unattended when it is charging.
• Place the product on a heat-resistant surface before charging the
battery. It is normal for a certain amount of heat to be generated
during charging.
•
Only charge the battery when it is inserted into the product. Never
attempt to charge the battery with an external charger.
• The battery must be charged using a USB power adapter or a USB
port on your computer. Using another power supply with a different
charging current may damage the camera and cause the battery to
overheat, catch fire or explode.
