Welcome to Renishaw’s
RETROSCAN scanning system for
machine tools
Welcome to RETROSCAN, a dedicated retrofit scanning system for machine
tools.
Available as a stand alone system, or as an integral part of Renishaw’s
RENSCAN 200 scanning system, your RETROSCAN scanning system
comes in its own carrying case [16] and will typically comprise of the following
(see Figure 2):

• Probe cable assembly (PL79 or PL127) [2].
•
Clutch assembly [3].
•
Adapter assembly [4].
• Probe interface card (CC1 or CC5) [5].
•
SP2-1 scanning probe [6].
•
5mm diameter ball end stylus [7].
• 6mm diameter ball end stylus [8].
•
8mm diameter ball end stylus [9].
•
3mm diameter hemispherical stylus [10].
• 6mm diameter hemispherical stylus [11].
•
TRACECUT [12], calibration cube [14] and dongle [15].
•
RS232C cable [13].
