CRUISE CONTROL

Switching on
Move the switch 1 upwards; the
green light lights up on the
instrument panel.
Activating cruise control
At a stable speed (greater than 30
km/h (20 mph)) and in the correct
gear, press switch
2 to the right or to
the left.
• The cruise control speed is stored
and automatically displayed after
the SET symbol.
Driving
Once a cruising speed is stored you
may
take your foot off the
accelerator pedal.
Changing the cruise control
speed
You may change the cruising speed
of your car at any time by pressing
2
(pressing it briefly several times or
pressing and holding it):
- towards “–” to reduce the cruising
speed,
- towards “+” to increase the
cruising speed.
The cruise control is
simply a driving aid. The
driver
remains fully
responsible for observing
the speed restrictions laid down
under current local regulations
and/or governed by the traffic
conditions in the course of a
journey.
Exceeding the cruise control
speed
In the event of an emergency
The cruising speed may be
exceeded at any time by pressing
the accelerator pedal. The SET xxx
symbol on the instrument panel
flashes to inform you that the
cruising speed is being exceeded.
When the emergency is over, the
vehicle will return to its set cruising
speed as soon as you lift your foot
off the pedal.
Unable to operate at the speed
selected
If the system is unable to maintain
the limited speed (for example
when driving down a steep hill), the
SET xxx symbol on the instrument
panel will flash to inform you of this
situation.
