Oil level indicator C :
The car must be parked on
level ground and the engine
should have been switched
off
for several minutes
beforehand to obtain an
accurate reading.
If the oil level is correct:
- The oil level is not displayed; the
coolant temperature will be
displayed at once.
However, you have the option of
checking the oil level by pressing
button
1 briefly within 30 seconds
of the ignition being switched on.
The oil level will be displayed for
approximately 20 seconds. If button
1 is pressed again within 30 seconds
of the ignition being switched on,
the oil level will be displayed again.
If the oil is below the minimum
level
- Gauge C is displayed for about 20
seconds and the oil level warning
symbol may be seen on the
multifunction display.
The minimum oil level is indicated
when a bargraph remains lit.
Do not start the engine until you
have topped up the oil.
Refer to the section on the oil level.
Coolant temperature indicator:
The number of bargraphs lit
depends
on the engine
temperature: under severe
conditions of use, eight
bargraphs at once may light
up briefly.
This is only serious if the coolant
temperature warning light comes
on.
You have the option of cancelling
the coolant temperature indicator
display. With the ignition key in the
accessories position:
- hold
down button 1 ; the
temperature indicator will flash,
- press the clock setting button H at
the same time.
