To connect the remote control with the GPC Smart
Processor(s), proceed as follows:
1.
Connect MOD-BUS lines from terminals "A+"
and "B-" of connector M1 of the remote con-
trol to terminals "D+" and "D-" of connector
CN04 of the GPC Smart Processor respec-
tively.
2.
Connect power supply wires from the "V+"
and "GND" terminals of the remote control to
the "+12V" and "GND" terminals of connector
CN04 of the GPC Smart Processor respec-
tively. Instead, you can also supply the room
thermostat individually with direct current with
the voltage values cited at the beginning of
the chapter.
When connecting the units in a network,
make sure that the poles of the MOD-
BUS connection are connected correctly.
Use a twisted pair cable of type
AWG20/22 with a cross-section between
0.25 and 1.5 mm
2
.
When connecting several units to the
remote control, these must be supplied by
only one GPC processor. DO NOT take
power from two or more processors at the
same time.
The remote control works with NTC sen-
sors with 10 KΩ and β-value 3435.
3.
Set correct addresses of the units by using
the DIP switches on the GPC Smart Pro-
cessors per the example below.
The number of the address is obtained by
adding the values of the DIP switch posi-
tions. The units must be numbered from 1
to "n" without omitting any number in the
number sequence. "n"
