USB Converter User Manual 

You are connected to a DMDI drive, 
converter 

Adapter Cfg (04) 

is set to 

“4” (RTU Passthru), and the 
diamond status indicator is flashing 
red.

Power cycle the drive to which the converter 
is connected. Then do one of the following:

•

HyperTerminal – Connect to the drive 
through the converter. Then 
simultaneously press the Ctrl and P 
keys as your initial command (instead of 
Enter).

•

V*S Utilites (v4.06 or higher) – Connect 
to the drive through the converter.
