Conversion from NG to LPG

THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER

IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Shut off the gas and electrical supply.

Remove the safety screen, open the front

door and carefully remove the logs and

lava rock.

Each Kit contains one LP

Instruction Sheet

Open pedestal door and remove the chain

from door which will allow door to fall.

Remove burner. See diagram below.

. Unplug the 10-pin connector at the control

module and disconnect the orange and

green wires of the valve.

Remove the NG stepper motor by removing

2 screws in locations below. Replace with

LP stepper motor, make sure the O-ring

is properly in place, then secure with 2

screws.

Remove the clip, then pull off the pilot cap

to expose the pilot orifice.

Reinstall new burner orifice LPG stamped

#49 and tighten.

15.

At the control module, remove the tab

using a small screwdriver, then slide the

two-way switch inside from NG to LP.

Return the tab afterwards.

Remove burner orifice with a 1/2" wrench

while using a 9/16" wrench to hold onto

the elbow behind the orifice, then discard

the orifice.

. Slide the three-way switch on the ignition

control module to ''OFF'' position.

Remove 2 screws that secure the front

door to the unit. One screw is on the left

hand side and the other on the right hand

side. (Left side shown).

Remove 4 screws to remove the access

panel (in locations shown below) and

the chain attached to the front door and

the unit. Once removed will expose the

control module.

12.

Unscrew the pilot orifice with the Allen

key and replace with the LPG pilot orifice

in the kit & reinstall pilot hood and pilot

clip.
