U39EX ULTIMATE™ Freestanding Gas Stove

maintenance

Valve Replacement

If the valve requires maintenance or replacement,

use the following instructions:

Note: Always shut off the gas supply and

turn off electrical before removing

the valve.

1. Remove safety screen and open front pedestal

door. You may want to put a soft cloth on the

base of the unit so that when the pedestal door

is open it doesn't scratch the paint.

2. Remove chain from door and unit,remove 4

screws holding the access panel in place.

7. Remove all 18 screws holding the burner tray

assembly in place.

8. Carefully lift the valve tray assembly out.

9. Remove the valve tray and replace.

10. Reverse Steps 1 to 8 to complete.

Disconnect 10-pin connector, the spark ignition

wire, flame sensor wire from control module.

4. Disconnect the gas at the valve. Access through

the front (with access panel removed). The gas

line may also accessed by removing the rear

pedestal cover plate.

5. Carefully remove the logs and lava rock.
