In the next work step, the transfers between the fuselage top and tail unit are
fastened with a little superglue and covered with transparent adhesive tape (1).
Then the spur wheel holder (2) is attached to the bottom of the fuselage with two
3 x 10 mm screws. Pre-drill the holes with a 2 mm drill and the put a little liquid
superglue into the drilled holes for the screws to be fastened securely.
g) Mounting the Elevator Linkage
Install the two rudder levers (1) for the elevators according to the adjacent figure.
As with the aileron linkage before, the elevator also requires the rudder lever hole
series to be in one line with the point of rotation (see sketch in the lower figure).
Hook the clevis (2) into the second or third bore from the inside (also see note on
setting the rudder deflections and fasten the clevis with the retention ring (3).
The protruding screws are shortened with a wire cutter and then ground to be
level.
