REDWING RC 50CC EXTRA
•Mix a small batch of epoxy and coat the inside
of each hinge point bore. Then stand out the
hinge points, and coat the end of each.
•Carefully
install the
Elevator half
onto the points
and clean any
excess epoxy.
•Ensure the surface moves freely bevel to bevel
to allow maximum deflection with minimal
hinge gap and set aside to cure.
From the Pro:
Use painters tape to secure the
counterbalances and along the hinge line while the
epoxy cures.
•Prepare the elevator servos while the epoxy is
curing by installing the grommets and inserts at
this time.
•Once the epoxy is cured, install the dual
control horns into the pre-cut slots of the
elevators.
