Regularly check the cutting off wheel for any
defects.

changing the cutting off wheel. Wear proper
working gloves.

electric connection cables are used.

Health hazards through the running cutting
off wheel with long hair and loose clothing.
Wear personal protective gear like a hair net

Installation
Prepare the workplace where you intend to place the electrical power tool. Provide enough space to ensure safe and trouble-free operation. The
power tool is designed for working in enclosed rooms and has to be installed on level and firm ground.
Mount the unit on the workbench, by attaching it to the holes provided.

Commissioning
• Know the machine. Learn its applications
and limitations, as well as the specific
potential hazards.
• Check for damage if part of the machine is
damaged, it should be carefully inspected
to ensure that it can perform its intended
function correctly. If in doubt, the part should
be replaced.
• Be sure the switch is OFF before plugging In.
• Make sure tool has been cleaned and
properly lubricated.
• Check for damaged parts. Before using any
tool, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended
function.
• Check for alignment and binding of all
moving parts, broken parts or mounting
fixtures and any other condition that may
affect proper operation. Any part that is
damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced by a qualified technician.
• Do not use the tool if any switch does not
turn off and on properly.
• Never force the tool or attachment to do the
work of a larger industrial tool. It is designed
to do the job better and more at the rate for
which it was intended.
• Always unplug the cord by the plug. Never
yank the cord out of the wall.
• Always turn off the machine before
unplugging.
• With normal use, the motor housing may get
hot.
• Make all adjustments to the machine with the
power OFF.
• Never leave the cutting off wheel saw
unattended while it is running.
• When turning off the machine, never leave
the cutting off wheel saw until it has come to
a complete stop.
• Make every effort to prevent snagging
by exercising special care when working
corners, sharp edges, ragged welds, etc.
• Do not use a cutting off wheel that is not in
accordance with specified sizes.
• Never carry the tool by the cord.
• Don’t pour water or coolant on cutting off
wheel when cutting.
• Make sure to secure cutting material so it
does not move during operation.
• Cutting material can get extremely hot during
operation.
If there is any question about a condition
about a condition being safe or unsafe, do not
operate the tool.
Setting the depth stop (see Fig. 8)
The downward movement of the machine can
be adjusted through the depth gauge (E).
To compensate the wear of the disc a sub
-
sequent adjustment of the cutting depth is
possible.
Loosen the lock nut (F).
Set the depth stop (E) accordingly.
Lower the machine head and check whether
there is enough distance between the blade
and fixed jaw (7).
Tighten the lock nut (F) tightly.
Operating instructions
•
The cutting disc should be fitted perfect
-
ly and should turn freely. Have a trial run
without any load for 1 minute at least. Do not
use a disc that is damaged, non-circular or
vibrating.
•
Set up the depth stop (see Setting the depth
stop) properly. If the stop is not set up cor
-
rectly, the disc may cut the surface under the
base plate.
