DO NOT RUN THE COMBINE 

WITHOUT HYDRAULIC OIL

CHECK HYDRAULIC           

FITTINGS FOR LEAKS

Ensure that the                     

Hydraulic Fittings have been 

tightened

HYDRAULIC LINES MAY BE 

UNDER PRESSURE

Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin 

causing serious injury.

Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before 

disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. 

Tighten all connections before applying pressure.

Wear Hearing Protection 

during operation

Start threshing module in low speed and listen for clearance problems.  If a knocking noise is heard, 

stop the machine immediately!  Fix problem and repeat procedure.  Progress to full power when 

everything is running smoothly at lower speeds.

Check all fasteners to ensure 

they have been properly 

tightened

    

When starting chopper, be 

sure all people are clear of 

the rear of the combine
