DSMC POWER OPERATION GUIDE

QUICKPLATE MODULE

The QUICKPLATE MODULE attaches to a +1 ADAPTOR MODULE or MODULE ADAPTOR to provide RED BRICK

power support for the DSMC BRAIN. Unlike the BACKPACK QUICKPLATE, this product does not require the

use of a LEMO connector cable or BACKPACK BASEPLATE. Plug the 6-pin AC power cable into the DSMC

BRAIN to keep the camera on while swapping batteries. The QUICKPLATE MODULE also features two (2) 2-pin

0B industry-standard auxiliary ports to power third party accessories.

NOTE:

The QUICKPLATE MODULE requires DSMC firmware v5.1.14 or later.

MOUNT QUICKPLATE MODULE

The QUICKPLATE MODULE attaches to a MODULE ADAPTOR or +1 ADAPTOR MODULE in the same way that

other DSMC modules attach. For more information about attaching DSMC modules, go to

“Attach DSMC Mod-

ules” on page 18
