MOD Live User Manual

Firmware Upgrade

PART 2. Follow these steps on MOD Live:

1. Navigate to SETTINGS and select it.
2.

On the SETTINGS submenu, navigate to Firmware Upgrade

and select it.

On the FIRMWARE UPGRADE submenu, navigate to and

select the option Upgrade Firmware.

The next screen provides you with the choice of upgrading

or restoring to the factory default. Navigate to and select

Upgrade.

Select Yes at the confirmation prompt.

The firmware upgrade process will begin. A progress bar appears

for about 20 seconds.

MOD Live will automatically reboot. The display turns black

during reboot. When MOD Live restarts, an Android icon appears

to let you know that MOD Live’s storage capacity is changing.

MOD Live will reboot again, and the display will turn black.
Wait about ten seconds and press the MOD Live power button.

When MOD Live restarts, the Recon splash screen appears for a

few seconds. Next, an upgrade screen appears. After the Update

screen disappears, MOD Live is ready to use.
Note: The version number of your upgrade appears in the

Settings screen.
