Connecting the drive unit to the forestay

5.5.9 Fitting the adjuster (RF90-4, RF90-5)

1. Screw the adjuster axle all the way on to the flange.

2.a RF90-4: Place the key in the recess in the adjuster axle in such a way that the untapped hole in

the key is situated above the drill hole in the flange. Fasten with the key-retaining screw.

RF90-5: Place the key marked '1' in the correspondingly marked recess in the adjuster axle in
such a way that the untapped hole in the key is situated above the drill hole in the flange.
Fasten with the key-retaining screw. Install the key marked '2' in the same way.

5.5.10 Setting the adjuster to its maximum length (RF90-4, RF90-5)

Notice

Risk of contamination of the environment by leaking hydraulic oil

Hydraulic oil can escape into the environment when the plug screw on the adjuster is
loosened or when the adjuster tube is unscrewed.

−

Collect leaking hydraulic oil and dispose of it in accordance with requirements.

For ease of mounting of the assembled furling system, the adjuster should first be set to its
maximum length.

1. Loosen the plug screw.

2. Completely unscrew the locking screw.

3. Unscrew the adjuster tube all the way.

4.

Screw the locking screw back in.

5.

Tighten the plug screw again.
